3/21/08 With the next couple of weeks off, We picked up a
new YZ 250 courtesy of Seminole Powersports and the crew
of Rudy, Seth Elliott, and Jason Thorne headed out to the
track to bust a couple of laps. Thorne and his 450 took the
speed award for the day, but the 2 stroke was definitely a
blast to ride.

2/20/08 X knights Costa Rica update from Rudy Waller
I just got in from Costa RIca where I joined Mike Jones and CLifford Adoptante as a
judge for the second annual X knights event held in the Saprissa Stadium in San
Jose.
This event is becoming one of the premiere fmx events in Latinamerica, with over
25 thousand spectators in a sold out event. This years event was controversially
won by Danny Torres over Eigo Sato. The event went well and it was good to hang
out with old friends as well as new ones in Costa.
I did alot of press while in San jose, then I was off to Rancho Coral in Esterillos for
a week of surf and relaxation. Thanks to everyone who made this trip possible.
Special thanks to Tommy and his family at the Rancho.

4/15/08 ECX/Elevated Taktics rider Mark Phillips
took some time last weekend to hit up an IFMA
contest near his home in Canada. Mark took the win,
busting out some new additions to his trick arsenal
such as superflips and other combos. Congrats to
Mark for throwing it down!!
5/13/08 Central America Tour Update by Rudy
Waller
I just made it in from delayed flight connection, lost bags, crazy airport
workers, you know the usual...but the last three weeks have been a blast
hitting up Honduras, El Salvador, & Guatemala for the Red Bull X fighters
Exhibition tour, then Costa Rica for a little media then some surf and
relaxation at the Rancho.
I met up in San Pedro Sula, Honduras with Tommy Clowers, Jeff Tilton,
Myles Richmond, J- Rod, and Settle, for the first stop of a three country
tour where we would be putting on fmx demos for free, promoting the Red
Bull X fighters events. The first event was held in a mall parking lot where
we jumped 3 sessions for a fully packed crowd in between some local
bands, and dj's. After one great fairwell party from our friends in Honduras,
we were ready for the 12 or more hour drive to San Salvador.
Upon arriving in San Salvador I met up with good friends Perico and Brujo
for a quick surf session at some world class breaks while the rest of the
crew rested and did some media back in the city. With another day of
rest/surf/media, we were ready to ride. This show was also held at a mall,
but with twice the crowd capacity. Come showtime there were people in the
trees, the grass, the roof, everywhere! We did our thing in front of the mall
on one of the main streets that they had shut down for the show. With
everyone coming away healthy we were ready for the drive to Guatemala.
Just when I thought it couldn't get any bigger, we hit Guatemala City. This
show was held right smack in downtown in front of the municipality building
with the largest crowd of the tour. The show here had alot of the same
elements as the other two, but more bells and whistles and a local trials
rider. The crowd was really into it screaming and chanting all day,
especially when Myles rotated his CR.
After another great fairwell from the RedBull Guatemala crew, I was on the
first flight to Costa Rica for a little media and a week of relaxation at my
good friend Tommy's ranch in Esterillos. The kids at the ranch are getting
ready for the surfing world championships in France coming up here in a
couple of weeks, so it was fun surfing and hanging out with groms while
they trained. The last night I was there we had a little party for Anthony
and Beto's birthday before their trip to the contest. Ginger made an
awesome cake and everyone enjoyed the fiesta Rancho Coral style.
Thanks to everyone over there for everything, I am sure I will be back
soon.
We have a couple of shows here in the U.S. , then off to Europe for a
couple of weeks. Thanks for your time.....r.
